Homemade Deodorant

I found an awesome blog, "One Good Thing" by Jillee. It is wonderful! Today I got the ingredients for natural deodorant. I have yet to try it, but I am very excited to do so. I'll keep you updated and let you know how it works. For those of you that live close to me or work with me, you'll be able to tell me if it is working! Goodbye Facebook

Today I deactivated my Facebook account. I am so sick of the drama. 

Goodbye to all of my friends and family that I used to talk to a lot. I just can't deal with it any more. If you want to talk to me give me a call, text or come see me. 

Maybe I'll be back one day.

Yard Sale

Today Scottie and I are having a yard sale! Lots of people have come, but not many have purchased anything. Why is it hard not to get offended when people don't want to purchase your junk?!

C'mon people!! Don't you know that my junk is better than regular junk? Why you ask? Because it is MY junk!

It is awkward when they come up and look at your stuff and walk away....do I make people feel like that when I walk away from their stuff? Another question I have is 'Do people get offended when you sell stuff they gave you?' I shall find out soon enough!

Well, I am off to try and sell more stuff. I'll let you know how we did.....I know you are all DYING to know!

a long long time ago

It has been quite a while since my last post. Much has happened. I went to New York, got a puppy, got a hair trim, crocheted some stuff, visited family....see I've been busy. Obviously too busy to blog, not! I am just lame-sauce.
Right now I am watching 'How its Made' on TV. This show is pretty interesting except it looks like it was filmed in 1971. The music is pretty sweet though. They are showing me how bathtubs are made right now and I just watched how toothpicks were made. Pretty neat!

sick sick sick

i hate being ill. i blow my nose til its red yet somehow it still insists on running. how is that possible? where is it coming from? ok, i know where it is coming from, but why?
i should be in bed sleeping , but my Sunday afternoon nap raged out of control so alas i sit here ill and awake. luckily i have this wonderful blog to keep me occupied until i get tired and eventually drift off to sleep. its too bad i am so funny though. reading what i have written is not inducing a state of boredom which is what i need to fall asleep. i would read the dictionary, but that is too much fun! i have tried counting sheep, but they never stay in a line and trying to keep them in order really stresses me out which is not helpful when you are trying to get some shut eye. what a dilemma. maybe i should put my lap top away, turn off the TV, the lights, get into bed and try to sleep instead of telling myself i can't....hmmm....novel concept. i'll let you know how it goes.

I barely believe it myself

Get ready to be shocked. Ready? Ok, I'll give you another second.....
ready or not here it goes....today I held a grasshopper. Seriously! It was small, yellow and kind of cute. I tried to catch it myself, but was not successful so Scottie caught it and put in my hand. I know it is shocking, but it is true. I squirmed a little bit when it jumped out of my hand, but I did NOT cry.

Man, I am really growing up. Paying off my car AND holding grasshoppers, I am UNSTOPPABLE.
